Ferrari Enzo Modifications
Ferrari Enzo ModificationsFerrari Enzo Modifications
In the last 27 years, Uwe Gemballa has achieved the best world-wide reputation for refining Porsche cars. Now, the company manager from Leonberg near Stuttgart takes on a new challenge. The automobile manufacturer turns the most potent super sports car from Maranello, the Ferrari Enzo, into the GEMBALLA MIG-U1 – an individually produced edition, limited to only 25 cars. The core part of the overall makeover is the entirely re-engineered aerodynamics concept by GEMBALLA. Without any exception, the manufacturer produces all components in real carbon in order to combine lowest weight with highest material strength.

Perfect Engine Full Injections Cars Modifications

If there's one thing that's critical in a high performance engine, then it's fuel control. Think about it: the whole objective of adding a turbocharger, of installing NOS, even of installing a free flow exhaust system, is to improve fuel delivery into the combustion chamber. It is also events in the combustion chamber that can and will destroy a high performance race engine if it's not controlled properly. Here we're talking about controlling the combustion process. Now I've heard many arguments as to why sidedraft carburetors provide better performance than fuel injection and engine management, and vice versa but I always say: it's not about performance, it's about reliability and there's no better system for fuel control than electronic fuel injection. Any endurance race car from INDY Car Racing, to Formula 1, to the World Rally Championship, to the Le Mans Series uses electronic fuel injection (EFI) systems, not just for reliability but because ensuring that the correct amount of fuel is delivered under every condition, will provide the best performance.

FI is central to engine management. It relies on an engine control unit (ECU) which processes a number of inputs from various sensors on the engine to deliver the correct amount of fuel at a particular RPM and air-flow rate/air density combination. The fuel is delivered through an injector, which is an electronically actuated solenoid valve. The amount of fuel that is delivered is dependent on the fuel pressure, which is usually a constant 30 psi above intake manifold pressure, and the pulse duration of the injector, i.e., the length of time the injector is held open.
ost EFI systems have a standard set of sensors. These include:
The Barometric Pressure (BARO) Sensor, which provides the ECU with the atmospheric air pressure reading.
The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor, which provides the ECU with the engine's current operating temperature. This is important because fuel vaporization varies for different engine temperatures. A cold engine requires more fuel while a hot engine requires less.
The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor, which the ECU needs to take into account when determining pulse duration.
The Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor, which is a tube positioned after the air filter in the air intake duct. The MAF sensor has a fine platinum wire that spans across the tube. The wire is heated by electrical current to maintain a constant temperature above ambient. The air flow past the wire cools the wire and more current is required to maintain the constant temperature. Thus, the amount of current required to maintain the constant temperature indicates the air flow rate. The air flow rate is divided by RPM to determine the pulse duration.
The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor, which uses manifold vacuum to measure engine load. An EFI system that uses a MAP sensor does not require a MAF sensor as it can use the input from the MAP sensor to determine the required pulse duration.
The Oxygen Sensor (O2S), which is used to measure the amount of oxygen that is not consumed during combustion. This is important for the correct operation of the catalyst converter and is used for emissions control rather than performance or economy. The O2S is located in the exhaust system and is an after-the-fact measure of the air/fuel ratio. Too much unburnt fuel in the exhaust indicates a lean mixture while too little oxygen indicates a rich mixture.
The Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor, which is important for timing purposes as it tells the ECU which spark plug to fire and which injector to open at any given point in the Otto cycle.
The Throttle Position (TP) Sensor, which is another important sensor as the throttle position and the rate of change in the throttle position indicates the what the diver wants the car to do.

America's new Veyron-killer SSC Ultimate Aero II, first photos

The SSC (Shelby Super Cars) Ultimate Aero was also the fastest production car in the world, when his top speed was clocked at 410 km / h. But that has not even maintained a few weeks. Then the Germans were the Bugatti Veyron super sports go, that the record 428km / h brought. The Americans see that as a defeat but as a challenge. The SSC Ultimate Aero will not go faster. The 6.2 liter V8 1.183pk strong has its limits.

The second generation of sports car should be able to handle the record. The first prototypes are likely until 2011. Details about the manufacturer solves nothing, but the design is still fixed. That was at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance to a select club clients shown, but it does not leak out. Now we have the first images. There, we can already conclude that SSC breaks with the design of its predecessor.

2012 Kia’s new supermini Picanto spy photos

2012 Kia’s new supermini Picanto spy photos
Kia hopes its new small car is the image of the group! Our spy photographers caught this mule on test in the vicinity of the company R & D European headquarters in Rüsselsheim, Germany, in the test phase to be launched next year.

And while the Picanto plays an important panel, the newcomer, the proportions are notably similar to the car it replaces. But the brand new car boxy form a serious injection of style by design boss Peter Schreyer and his team was given.

At the front is swept back headlamps and the familiar chrome grille snout Tigers are visible, while the current car broken shoulder line is replaced with a steep, what the Picanto a sportier profile.

The car shown here has five doors, and will probably be offered in this body style at the start, but Kia is considering whether to even build a cheaper three-door version.

Expect the Picanto a similarly impressive interior feature, with a practical, yet stylish design that is reminiscent of the recently launched Sportage. And just as the SUV, the majors kit on price-performance ratio, the Picanto with such as air conditioning, power windows and an MP3-compatible stereo be packed.

Under the hood, the Kia will get the same all-new 1.0-liter gasoline engine, thes 99g/km of carbon dioxide, which will debut in Paris is the 2011 model year Hyundai i10. The Picanto uses the same platform as its sister Hyundai car.

The new Picanto will make its worldwide debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March next year. The prices are likely to remain highly competitive costs, with entry-level versions of some £ 7,000 when to go on sale in the UK as early as next summer.

Aston Martin sells one model every two days in Brazil

The Brazilian market for luxury goods is better than the English Aston Martin expected. With the official start of sales in August in a single store in Sao Paulo, the brand adds 16 units in 30 days. The cheapest model is the coupe version of the V8 Vantage, sold for $ 600,000.

Even before the official opening, a unit of the DB9 model had already been sold for $ 850,000. The most expensive car in the shop is the DBS, which starts from $ 1.23 million.

The estimate of the SHC group, which represents the brand is selling 50-60 units per year. "We have not increased our estimate of sales, because that initial demand is always higher, but the number is quite impressive and if it continues, we will revise our projections," said the G1 to general manager of Aston Martin in Brazil, Helena Farah

2010 BMW CLR 500 RS2 Best Car Advanced

2010 BMW CLR 500 RS2We saw the first package from the newly sprung partnership between Lumma Design and Top Car back in June when they released a photo shoot featuring the CLR X 650. That venture was not the last we were going to see of this new endeavor. so we sat back and patiently waited for the next vehicle to be presented. Enter the CLR 500 RS2 based off of the new BMW 5-Series and upgraded with both engine and aerodynamic updates.

But let’s start at the beginning. For the exterior, the tuners are offering a carbon fiber hood, wing extensions, a new front spoiler with huge air intakes, LED lights, new side skirts, a new rear spoiler, and a diffuser made by carbon fiber. Rounding off the exterior of the BMW is a new set of wheels and a matte black paint. The interior also gets lots of carbon fiber inserts. All of this makes the CLR 500 RS2 anything, but subtle.

The kit is based on a 535i, which in its standard version develops a total of 306 HP. But after a few tricks, the engine’s output has been increased to an impressive 380 HP. The price for the kit is $174,000.

Mazda gives us a preview of it’s new B-segment hatchback, the Mazda 2. Updated to modern Mazda design language, gone is the boxy outlook of it’s predecessor, instead you get a sporty hatch which is reminiscent of the Toyota Yaris. The new Mazda 2 is shorter at 3880mm, however it still keeps an identical wheelbase of 2490mm.

It has a sporty front, with a large air dam flanked by two smaller ones hosting fog lamps, and large headlamps, however I have to disagree with their choice of front grille design – something bigger would have looked better. Trunk space is rated at 250 liters, but with the seats down it enlarges to 469 liters of space. The 2008 Mazda 2 is expected to be unveiled with three engine options, a 1.3 liter petrol (two variants – 74hp/118Nm and 83hp/121Nm), a 1.5 liter petrol (103hp/136Nm) as well as a 1.4 liter turbodiesel.
